Default Lowering and Alignment...in Texas

I finally put my Tein S-Tech springs on a few months ago... then I went back to school and I went home a few weeks ago to find that nobody in Abilene Texas could align my car...

I guess my 19inch volks plus the lowering confuse those alignment guys...

Does anyone know of a place in either Houston or Dallas I can get my alignment done with no problem? Preferablely Dallas.

www.soulspeed.com is a great alignment shop in Austin if that's not too far of a drive for you. Depending on your drop you may need some adjustable camber arms though if you want to keep it within nissan specs.

I too am going to buy some S-Tech springs and I will be going to SoulSpeed for alignment after install. All reviews/comments I have seen on SoulSpeed have been very positive.

Yeah, they do my race and street alignments and Bill Kim is always at the race track and knows his stuff. Most of the guys I race with use him.

As for Abilene......

Don't know if you tried but there is the Nissan dealer on Clack St. and the guys at Firestone @ Clack St. and Buffalo Gap Rd do good work. Are you still in Abilene because all the Z's I see around here are anti-social.

I will check them out. I had a close encounter with a curb over a year ago and I need to have it checked out by someone other than the nissan stealership. Based on others experiences with the springs they have been relatively easy to bring back into Nissan's specs so I am going to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

The nissan people refered me to the Firestone place and then the Firestone place refered me to Big Country tire :s The alignment machine at the Nissan place was broken haha and Big Country said my car was too low.

I was in Abilene about a month ago to visit my fiance but now I'm back at school/about to go to sea. I will be in Abilene a lot in the next 3 years or so. I saw a silverstone with a body kit driving around that wouldnt even look at me! I know he saw/heard me due to my ghedo flowmaster exhaust. If you ever see a white z with gold volks flag me down.

Everyone in a Z or G in Texas that I have ever run into has been very anitsocial or just wanted to race down the freeway.
