So, I guess if we apply your same way of viewing things, the following blurb is the same sort of brainwashing and isn't to be taken seriously

"Dynamically, there are few cars so immediately comfortable to drive quickly. Thoughtful chassis and suspension tuning have made it relatively easy (and hugely satisfying) to hustle the Z around offramps and racetracks alike. Excellent overall balance allows it to seamlessly process braking, steering and throttle inputs without unduly upsetting the chassis. Fore-to-aft weight transfer has a minimal effect on the car's composure, allowing the driver to transition from braking to power more quickly when cornering."

Thumbs up Install Complete

So I just finished installing the Megan Coilovers on my ride. There very nice and I'm glad I got them. I recommend them.
I think the front needs to come down about 1/4-1/2 inch?

Bottomed out, No way. I have the rear springs set as low as they will go. I think I hit my muffler once? I'm going to drop the front 1/4" when I get a chance. What you got them set at?

Default MRs

Sorry guys, just got finished installing my rears today... Kinda disappointed on the drop. I thought they came in fully adustable height, it still left about an inch gap in the rear and that's the lowest they'd go. I had the tein S-tech before this install and I don't think there's much difference on the gaps. I know I should of taken pictures before and after.... damn... The front will be done on Sunday. Overall easy install, it took longer cause I also installed my Stillen sways and SPC camber and toe.

Hey Lex and Nissansource, what would you recommend on the level of damper? Oh also, how the hell do you mess with the rear damper without pulling them out again? which panel do you remove in the trunk? Last thing, have yours setteled yet, did you guys see any difference in the gaps after awhile?

my set gives me this clunking noise from the rear.. mainly when the weight in the rear gets lifted up, ie, going over bumps or going downhill at slow speeds. checked all arm bolts, checked the top bolt, even put a thin (3mm thick) rubber in between the uppoer mount and the chasis, i still get the noise.

next thing to try is to put a thin layer of rubber (3mm again perhaps) in between the springs and spring seats. Hopefully it will get rid of the noise I am getting

as for the performance, I havent really pushed the car out so much yet but its just way too soft for a set of coilovers. I set mine to the hardest and its still too soft for me, which I think it makes the whole point of damping adjustability useless. cuz it makes the soft setting somewhat useless to have. I wonder if this set can handle any higher spring rate than what it came with (10f/8r).

Of course, its a lot better than stock setup still, and is the cheapest one u can get.

Mine are set at 10 all around. Works great for me, no complaint. You have to remove there rear to adjust the level. They do make a clicking noise in the rear when you go over a hard bump and theres extra weight in the car.

Default clunking noise?

So I take it you guys didn't reuse the OEM rubber mounts? I was going to take them out to get more drop but thought of the metal to metal clunking noise... How do you guys adjust the rear dampers? Drilled the holes?

i used the stock rubber mounts for the loser springs seat.. and used the one that came with the kit for upper one. noise is still there.

to adjust the damping, i took the shock out.. only takes 30min per corner anyway..

Default Camber

Which camber kits did you guys go with? I went with the SPC rear/w toe bolts but don't know which ones to go for the front. Seems like the average cost for the A-Arms are around $300.

Decided to pull my Koni's and reinstall the Megan's again. I did make one change to the fronts. I fabbed rubber isolation seat's for the springs to tone down impact hashness. Worked pretty good, especially for less then a $6 investment. So far I've put 1600 miles on them this time around.

I do have a idea however. I'm going to pull the rear 448lbs springs and run them in the front to see if with less spring if the dampenrs can hit their stride and dampen a broader range of ride motion's. For rear springs I'm just going to run oem 04.5 Z springs on .8" cut down oem upper spring seats, which are 427lbs in rate.
