What??? 300$ for a set of front non-Brembo pads ???

We paid 70$ for my gf's pads at the dealer last month...

Your dealer quoted you for Brembo pads!

Depends. I pushed them pretty good on the street and did 1 auto-x without any issues. I was stupid enough to try them on a real track and they were fading hard after 2-3 laps. They won't hold up to repeated hard stops from high speed, but are a good street pad.

So Axxis are out for me. They need to be able to handle the street/auto-x/and track.

I'm running Axxis Ultimate pads as well on my stock Brembos. They dust like a ****, but work pretty well for daily driving as well as AutoX. Haven't tried HPS, but for the big increase in price, it really doesn't seem to be that great?

I have Hawks in rear and Axxis in front.. I hate the Hawks.. They squeak like a **** when they get warmed up.. I much prefer the Axxis pads even though they dust a lot more..

i have the hawk hps now and mine squeak like crazy too. Axxis sounds good but sounds like it has a lot of brake dust. is there something in btwn the 2. low brake dust, and doesnt squeak. in the same price range?

I changed to Axxis Deluxe Plus pads on my Brembos, front and rear. So far, these pads are awesome...little to no dust, good (if not better) bite cold or hot, and low cost.

I just purchased the EBC Greenstuff Pads and Sports Rotors on the front of my Z, and so far, I have no complaints. Much less brake dust than OEMs, and as good stopping bite as OEMs. However, I am still breaking them in.

From what I've read the Axxis Deluxe pads are a great replacement of stock pads. Less dust, better bite. Does this sound correct for the people that have had them for a while?

On the other hand, he Axxis Ultimates are more for track use and produce more dust, but can handle constant abuse at autocross events.

I've just sick of the dust and want slightly better braking power.

Yes, love my Axxis Deluxe pads. Got mine from Jeff (?) at importrp.com. They're about $40 per pair. Don't forget to mention the g35driver discount.
