Default replacement pads for rotora

I have a 355mm 6-pot front and 355mm 4-pot rear and I'm wondering where the best place to buy replacement pads is. I contacted rotora and they sent me a list that they sell but it seemed very expensive for street pads and I wasnt satified with the amount of dust they produce. So im looking for some good pads that will be streetable and be good for autocrossing, low noise, very low dust, and low rotor and pad wear. And also where to buy them =)

If you know the FMSI(friction materials standards institute-I think) number, we can track down which pads you need and what is available.

The other way is to trace the pad shape and scan it. If they gave you a list, I imagine that there should either be an FMSI or hawk part number on there which would make it very easy to find out what else is available.

The one unfortunate side of having more pistons is that the pads will cost more.

note that what came with your brake system is our H2 ceramic pads. if you like to have a lower dust, perhaps you may want to use our H6 pads (higher content of ceramic).

Thank you.

tech"

Can anyone use these part numbers and cross reference what sizes the pads are and what other options we may have? If we could get a definitive list going we should sticky this because rotora doesn't give much information on their pads

The number written on the back of the 6 piston pad is: 4C770
The number written on the back of the 4 piston pad is: 41546

If this is not the FMSI number let me know and I will fax you the trace, if you let me know the number to fax to.

With about 1/2 pad life on the H2 brake pads, I finally finished off my pads with a total of 7 hours of Track time at Barber Motorsport park. Man what a fun way to spend a sh*t load of money! So I will now have to put my extra pads on my car, thus I will need some replacement ASAP since I like to have an extra set at the track!

Thanks!

I don't have my install manual anymore. And this is the only number I could find on the pads or the box that Rotora sold them to me.

I am 95% sure I have the correct hawk numbers / FMSI for the Rotora Pads... Im going to talk with Hawk about it tomorrow...

THey look like they are .02" - .01" in difference in width / height for one pad... the thickness, the hawk ones are .1" thicker then the rotora thickness spec they sent...

For the rear, I am finding the closest one to be just about perfect width, but the hight is almost .5" taller... the hawk are thinner...

Ill know for sure tomorrow...
