Default To Airbag or Not to Airbag that is the question.

So, I'm looking at different wheel and suspension options right now...

And while I know most like small or no wheel gap, and low rides, and I'll admit it looks nice... There is also a practical side to it. There are speed bumps in the world.

So the crux of the dilemma is this... Do I sacrifice daily usage to put in a sport suspension to get the look? Or do I sacrifice ‘spirited’ drivability to get the look?

I guess I don’t know how a set of Teins VS an airbag set would handle… Does anyone know?

To a novice driver is it really going to matter?

you can have your cake and eat it too - there are plenty of good quality coilovers out there that will not only allow for a very dropped look, but also give you a nice riding car - HKS RS (I have em on my car) is one, KW Varient II or III is another, Bilstein PSS9 is another. Airbags I guess will work as well, but you can kiss the handling goodbye

Airrunner air-suspension is nice to have. You can manually or remotely raise/lower your vehicle at any time, helps prevent damage to bodykit. Has 3 different height presets + a full dump. Looks cool when fully dumped when parked. It also has 4-level damper control. Airrunner is not your typical regular airbag add-on, its a full strut replacement. Check airrunners site for more info.

Default good info.

Well this is good info...

I've found four differnt airbag kits at this point.

http://tinyurl.com/owzqj - AirRunner ~ 3,900
http://tinyurl.com/p6shb - Universal Air ~ 2,300
http://tinyurl.com/eklyv - Roberuta Cup Kits ~ 4,200
http://tinyurl.com/znjcf - Airbagit.com ~ 2,400

Each kit is a bit differnt... Each uses differnt bag design etc.

With the Universal Air kit, you can use Teins and use the air bags as spring replacements...

Is there anyone out there that can speak about the other kits???

Roberuta Cup Kits - are not airbags at all and only works on certain coilovers
