Default NISMO S-Tune Suspension

Thinking of buying the NISMO S-Tune Suspension for my car, but have some questions. I know it drops it 20mm or .80 inches and it improves the ride etc... The car is a daily driver and I'm worried that by dropping it I will do damage to the exhaust. I have driven a low car in the past (1990 Twin Turbo Maserati, had it when stationed in Italy, not a rich boy) that sat so low that if you went over a speed bump to hard the you would hit the oil pan. However this was not a daily driven car as much. Interested in your thoughts about this and if anyone has experienced this problem or others like it. Thanks Guy's!!!

The NISMO S-Tune suspension is perfect for the daily driving owner who likes to hit the twisties every so often. It should have no clearance problems with the oil pan nor with the exhaust if you aren't driving the car like a raised 4 x 4 off-roading monster.

at an aggressive slope you should take the car at a bit of an angle anyways. but if you can drive the car as it is, an extra 3/4 of an inch isn't gonna make too much difference. I take speed bumps head on. it's not as though it's really that low.

Thanks for the help I want to drop it and want the better suspension but it is a daily driver so I have to consider that in my upgrades. Man I should have just bough a beater car with the money I spent on upgrades.

I've had the s-tune sways/suspension for about 6 months now and love it. I also have the nismo exhaust. The drop is just right, about .8-1 inch, not too much problems with curbs or speedbumps, just have to be a little bit more careful than stock. The handling though is much improved... far less body roll and more neutral cornering. Understeer is all but gone, if anything the car is more rear happy.

no comparison between how the Flex behaves day to day and how the S Tune behaves day to day - the S Tune is far more liveable. It's downside is that it's a static drop, but the valving is such that it's a wonderful suspension for a daily driver with some spirited driving thrown in.

You won't have any issues with it being lower. The S Tune is a relatively mild drop

S-Tune suspension is a good mod. Not a drastic drop like some suspension mods. Took the bounce out of my 03. I have had the setup for 2 plus years. No problems with it being too low. I have more issues with my Nismo chin spoiler being close to the road.

I haven't riden in a car with the Tein Flex but I do have the Nismo and even though my Z is not a daily driver I don't think I'd want to go much firmer. I think you loose a certain amount of road feel and handling dynamics on the road with to stiff of an application. They tend to better suit a smooth track surface. The damping force is perfect on the Nismo S-Tune for the street it really helps the handling characteristic of the vehicle.

TVS is sweet because it gives you fully front/rear adjustable swaybars as well
