i have no idea what to buy now

lets say without taking cost into consideration

looking at everything available for 06 Z

i don't race

street driven only

wanna lower 1" to 1.5" front
wanna lower .75 " to 1.25" rear
gonna order the hotchkis sway today for sure
volk gt7 19x 8.5 & 19x 9.5 wheels ordered already
245/30/19 F 265/30/19 tires ordered already

i do want the the kit to bring the top bracket mount as to not have to re-use the factory stuff i am removing

anyone who actually has a coil over kit in their own car that can meet my needs , and your experince has been good with your choice please share your advice so at least my purchase will be correct for my situation

If you just want to keep things simple, get a set of lowering springs and pay someone to install them. You will need to re-use your factory top mounts, but who cares, the installer will disassemble and reassemble them anyways.

With as much money as you're able to drop on wheels/tires, I'd recommend increasing your suspension budget to $1500. You will have many more quality options in that range. I've used KW, Moton, and Bilstein coilovers on other cars and all three are excellent products made by reputable companies. The KW V1's and Bilstein's would be within a $1500 budget.

i did that on my civic

pulled factory springs off factory struts and loaded eibach springs back on the factory struts

it is something i don't want to do

it just want to pull out factory assembly , and install coil over

there has to be a forum member that owns coil overs that they are happy with and can recomend with confidence

out of the 25 coil overs available there must be 1 that has no negative drawbacks I HOPE

i do all the work myself

would not pay someone for this type of work , swaping is a cinch

and lets say that there is no limit to the budget

just want to be able to get the 1" to 1.5 " front lowered & .75" to 1.25" rear drop

and i want it to have the top brakets mounting plates

so if money is not the issue what is the best soil over for my simple needs

thanks for helping me

i was fine with the Megans until i read such split opinions on them

they were $1000 , can give me the height i want

excpet people say good and then no good

I love my JIC 2's...but they cost a good amount and it doesn't look like you need something as nice (I got them for track / autoX). Why not go with Tein basics? It'll give you the ability to lower your car to exactly the height you need and not much more.

they do not give me the lowered height i want
website says max f .67" max rear .55"

to lower 1/2 why bother

http://www.tein.com/ti/p26.html

so a basic tein kit that cost $800 no brakets and really way to conservative a drop would be a waste of money and time and will not yeild the results i want

Unless you are ready to start using the coilover to their full potential, new springs and dampers (that match) will get you what you want. And for 99% of the street driven cars, there is absolutely no reason to go with coilovers! So save you money and get something that will still meet your goals, then you will have money left over to get another mod (maybe sways that will match your new springs and dampers?).

Well - now you have bought coilovers - unlock the potential of them! Buy some adjustable end-links for your sways, then ensure you get your car corner wieghted once you get everything installed. If you don't get your car corner wieghted, then you risk affecting your handling negatively.
