Default Nismo S-Tune sway bars - Why not with VDC?

In the description of the product on factorypartsdirect.com it states that these are for "non-VDC". What is that all about? Why would VDC matter and do I really need to concern myself with it? I am probably going with Cusco anyway but does VDC really matter and why?

Nissan is just covering their asses with that blanket statement. They even had that in the listings for the NISMO wheels. Basically, they are stating that any change to the suspension, wheels, tires, etc. can affect the dynamics of the car and ultimately affect the behavior of VDC which is tuned to the OEM configuration.

If you put on a NISMO swaybar or Cusco or any other aftermarket part then have the rear end slide out in a turn at high speed and total your Z and kill or maim somebody, don't blame Nissan for VDC not saving you.

If you go to www.nissanusa.com/nismo and choose the sway bars from the website they actually say they are compatible with VDC if installed with the S-Tune shocks and springs. BTW MSRP is $500 on the Nissan website so factorypart's pricing is misleading at best. They sell for $465 at MyNismo (http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=2499)

Cool, I thought it was BS or just CYA. Just wanted to get some other opinions. Thanks.
