Default suspension tighting?!?!

I know my sig says 06 redline, but I totaled it when I hit an ice patch,(post pics later in another thread) so now I drive a 04.5 PPW enthusiast...LOVE IT!!!! The only prob with the car is it seems like am driving on air bags or something. Its actually kinda scary on the highway when I need to pass some one up and the car feels like its swaying back and forth. Does anyone know if there is a way to tighten the suspension...maybe take it to the dealership?? Am lost, suspension is the only thing in my car "game" that I am not up to par with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

most likely no. Just upgrade to some Tokico's or Koni's and a nice set of springs.

I got mine installed with a bunch of other stuff like my built motor and turbos LOL so I have no idea. it was a package set.

PM Bubble on the forum. he is selling his Koni's with Eibach springs for $500.00 which is a killer deal.

are these really good tires?? I have the potenzas 94w in the front and kuhmos 96v in the back, could this be the REAL reason why it feels funny...or is the dealer bieng shady/lazy somehow?

the way u explained it in ur first description, it sounds like ur shocks are done, not tires. if u were SLIPPEN all over the place then that would b the tires....

What size tires (eg. 225/45R18 etc.)
What tire model (eg. MX, SPT, ASX etc.)?
What rim sizes?

Chris

If it feels like a bouncy floaty feeling, you just need high performance shocks like koni or tokicos.

Instead of spending money right away, take a look under the car. It sounds like this is a used Z? I would inspect all the shocks and springs, then the suspension linkages and bolts holding them, then look to see if the sway bars are still connected.
What you describe to me means either one of the sway bars is not connected (or damaged), and/or you have toe out in one or more of you tires.
