Default Installed springs: one side higher than the other - help please.

I installed my Hotchkis TVS1 Kit last week and all the sides were equal in drop. Yesterday, I decided to change the stiffness on the front sways to the 2nd hole from stiffest. I put everything back and checked out the wheel gap. The passenger side front is about 1/3 of an inch higher than the driver's side.

I thought that it would settle so I drove around for a bit, came back and checked again. Same thing. Could it be because the spring shifted somehow causing one side to be higher? When I first installed it everything was even. Should I wait to see if it settles? Any comments would be appreciated.

You need to pull your springs back off and check to see if they are on the correct corners, all of the springs are matched to each corner.

By this, do you mean that the springs should fit snugly into the groove of the shock? Like on the bottom of the shock?

Yes the springs are wound either clockwise, or counter-clockwise and will sit in the perch perfectly when mounted correctly.

I'll check tomorrow. Does anyone know if you need the insulators from the stock springs? They are rubber pieces from the bottom of the stock spring - probably to reduce noice or maybe slippage?
