Default HKS warranty

Has anybody had problems with their coilovers or any HKS product? did they require you to send the parts back to the dealer to get warranty work done?
My brand new coilovers have shocks which cause popping noises what the @#$@ I already spent more than half the cost of the coilovers diagnosis and installation.

Do some searching, this has been discussed. There is nothing wrong with your struts.

It's either:

The pillowball mounts, the top hats contacting the body, or the spring seat moving around.

I'm pulling apart mine apart this weekend to see what it is exactly. It doesnt bother me, but some dont have the sound at all, so I should be able to fix it.

Rob at ZCG tightened everything down but it still made noise so the shocks were replaced with stock ones and the noise is gone. Rob said that it might be the top hats having problems inside. or the valving.
I can't find threads on top hats.

Z1auto and drsifu has the HKS hipermax RSes but the upper pillowball mounts aren't making any noises according to them.
