Default HKS hipermax owners vote please

Do you have popping noises coming from the shocks in the rear?
Also, did you use a paper / rubber gasket in between the body of the car and the aluminium top hat of the shock?

Bought my RS's used actually, and not using any gasket/paper or anything else - no noise issues whatsoever and they have been on my car for almost 2 years

I know it sucks to have noises like this, but rather than posting a few different threads all asking the same thing, reinstall your stock rear shocks, leave the theaded coilover spring (you can still have some height adjustment), and call the dealer you bought your coilovers from so they can work with HKS on inspecting them for you.

rubber rear shock mounts. its the fix. I have jics with the pillowballs switched to rubber and quiet. If its a daily driver and you don't track it much ditch the pillow *****. That is if the noise bothers you. bothered me.
