I received my strut bar yesterday from GTspec. It arrived poorly packaged, no hardware or referenced spacers. When contacting GTspec they argued that it doesn't include spacers .
GTspec please re-read your above statement saying it includes the spacers. This strut bar doesn't clear the motordyne 5/16 spacer and my plenum. I'm assuming it would have if it included the required hardware that I didn't receive!
I should have ordered the better looking, better fitting and reputable Cusco product.

you going to bump every thread they have? Youre helping them quite a bit more than you are hurting them.

GTspec's last activity was 12/2010

You really think they are going to reply?
You really think that people are going to care that he did not get washers?
People rarely read the OP, much less the ones that follow. They pm or post too quick.

he would be better off starting a separate thread vs bumping all the old threads.

I didn't check or notice GT Specs last activity was 12/10. I know the thread is old news and many vendors still carry and sell this strut bar. I just wanted to call them out and not target any other vendor selling GTspec garbage. The spacers aren't just washers btw. I debated starting a thread... However I'm moving on and ordering the Cusco bar. Seems my posting got a little attention.

They've apparently changed the offerings since the time it was released.

I've acquired two of these bars over the years, used. Both times I didn't get spacers, but it's not like it was a real issue. The second time I got one of the bars, I just made spacers, grabbed longer bolts, and put it on the car since I have a 5/16' spacer as well.
