Tokico D-Spec shock/springs
or
Tein Basic Coilovers
Which will make the most significant improvements to handling after re-alignment/corner balancing.

I need to get more info on the d-spec as well. Most of my searches came back with multiple answers on the drop amount anywhere from .75 to 1.25....still cant figure how much it drops
First you can't corner balance a spring/shock combo that doesn't have adjustable ride height...
That said I really like my Tokico D-Specs. They support springs with rates up to 442/lb and have a lifetime warranty.
The Tein Basics are the bottom of the bucket Tein coilovers. From what I hear they are heavy, have been known to rust and the dampening isn't so hot. Also not much of a warranty.

aye, you mean no spring preload adjustment right? thats what corner balancing does doesnt it? and I know the D-specs couldnt, just didnt think of it at that time. So if you order them you can order them with linear 442 lb springs front and rear?
you really can't properly cornerbalance the Basic's either, since they only adjust height via spring preload, which, by nature, limits the travel the damper has too
IMHO you don't buy a $800 set of coilovers to spend $300-$400 between alignment and cornerbalance
Either way, both sets are similarly matched...the Basics giving the ability to adjust height
I'd still go for a set of Koni's with a suitable spring (we use them with the Tein S Tech's alot and love the combo) vs either one

"Good question about the cornerweighting... we adjusted the endlinks and got the rear within one pound of each other and the front within 10 lbs left to right. Diagonally we were within 1% and front to rear we were 52/48."
Not sure if the end justified the means, but anyhow.
On you question about ordering 442lbs springs for the D-specs, you cannot, nor does anyone make them.
