Default Pads-Rotors?

Well my cousins Z is giving off alot of brake dust. I was wondering if you any of you can recommend some new pads-rotors for this car. Something that is very low on brake dust. Thanks!

You don't need to use brake pads. It's a common misconception. Brake pads are only there because of archaic government safety standards. Since 1993, brake calipers can stop the vehicle, while producing no dust. The government does not want you to know this.

And the converse: aftermarket pad maufacturers don't want you to know how BAD certain compounds can be or how badly they stop on cool temperatures or how badly they stop in wet conditions or how badly they may EAT the soft [for noise] oem rotors.

Just like tires run the gamut some taking 25 feet longer to stop from just 50 mph, some brake pads can increase your 60 mph stopping distance significantly..............unlikely that any pad made will out stop the oem from 60 mph [because the oem picked the winner to assure they won the magazine braking test to sell cars][probably some pads get close or match stopping distance].......................not to say oem is best in overheated track or roadcourse stress...............just in 60-70 mph stops when matched with oem tires.
Notice no brake pad company has paid for or published scientic pad tests......why because they know from simple testing what oem does.

Winning a 60 mph magazine braking test is easy, selling the same components to new car buyers who whine and moan about dust and noise and wear is the tough part.

The same brake engineers who get a bonus for the magazine win get dirty looks when the complaints and warranty cost come rolling in.

Governments are very very concerned about brake dust since it runs off streets and pollutes waters...............so concerned that states have banned copper as a pad additive..........carbon dust at least is not carcogenic.
