Default Tokico D Spec?

Hi, I have silkroad coilovers with 10kg front and 8kg rears...I am not to fond of them, and I am thinking of going with Tokico D specs with swift springs...What is the stiffest spring rate you can run on these...would they be a complete downgrade from silkroads? My 350z is mainly for drift, but I occasionally do Autox and Roadcourse

I run Dpsecs and SPRINT(linear springs) 2" drop with hotchkis sways.

The Dspecs han handle the load.

Never heard of SWIFT springs

I have no clue how well the dampner's on the Silk road setup do their job. Though seeing you post that you don't like them, basically compromising your ability to resell them, something must be up.

No one can tell what overall stiffness to run, weather derived from springs, dampners or sways. All any of us can do is to relate our own experience, which honestly really only applies to that person. That being said, having run several different spring rate combo's, for me it would be a let down to go from 560/448 to just 336/364. But, and it's a big BUT. If your ditching a coilover system that has subpar dampning, where it impact's performance and the ride and drive quality of the car, going to a system that doesn't do that, even if the spring stiffness levels are somewhat megar in comparison, may give you that certain element that you dislike on the Silkroad setup, really good dampning.

Tokico engineering department say's the 350Z D-spec shock can be run with springs that are up to 450lbs in rate.

RSR 350Z linear springs .6”/.6”
Spring rates in LBS 345/417

Hotchkis 350Z Linear springs .6”/.8”
Spring rates in lbs 340/330

Tein S-tech 350Z springs .7“.6“ (fronts are slightly progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in LBS 386/402

Tein H-tech 350z linear springs .3”/.2”
Spring rates in LBS 358/375
(setup doesn't fell as stiff in use as the specs suggest)

Tokico D-spec shock & spring package
350Z - DSK512 - 375f/375r - Linear Springs 1"/1.5"

Swift 350Z linear springs .8”/.6”
