Which coil springs are the best?
My 2003 350z is bouncy as sh|t i cant stand it. i want to put on 20s but if i do that the max i should be able to go down is an inch. Now is it possible put on a suspension from a newer 350? or must i go after market?

Im not trying to be an ***. this is a very helpful forum but you will find that if you dont try to help yourself first (by searching and reading the forum) that people are going to be less than reluctant to help you. Most likely the mods will also close your thread since you didnt search and posted a topic that has been covered many many times before.

Because??? Yes I did search but I couldnt find anything that answered my question.
Seems to me you trying to be an *** and saying your not trying to be an *** may make you feel better at night but that doesnt mean im not going to think your being and *** because you are.
Im sure everything that is posted here was posted once before. If we didnt post something that was posted before there wouldnt be nothing to post.
And I am still looking for this post that has exhaust sounds that I hear about but I still cant find that.

to answer your question, to get rid of your bouciness yes you have to go aftermarket. that is the only route. as for what one to go with, i agree you should search since there is a entire section dedicated to suspension upgrades and many membbers have posted their results with using various combinations as to what works and what does not.

Tokico D-spec shock & spring package
350Z - DSK512 - 375f/375r - Linear Springs 1"/1.5"
Is it worth 600? Will I notice a difference? Has anybody used them? I will be Pairing it up with hotchkis Sways front and rear. I would like more handling but I really want the bounciness eliminated... Is it a good choice?

First of all, the springs are NOT the cause of the 03/04 350Z's bounce and porposing behavior. The shocks are to blame. A lot of compression dampning and not enough rebound control. Most lowering springs on the market were R&D's with 03/04 oem shocks in mind. Some manufactuers gave it more effort then other's to bandaid things by massaging their springs in a effort to lesson or wishfully cure the bounce/porposing behavoir. Meaning some springs do reduce the bad behavior more then others, but none will totally eliminate it.
Nissan did eventually take matter's into their own hands. Midway into 2004 production Nissan made a running change to the suspension to address the ride and drive quality of the 03/04 supension. The shocks were changed to one's that had less compression dampning and more rebound control. Rear spring rates were upped 25% from 342 to 427 and the front sway bar was stiffened by 17% via thicker wall's in it's hollow construction.
IMO the best cure for a 03/04 owner that has had enough of the bounce and porposing is either Koni SA Yellows or Tokico D-spec shocks.

Well if you did search you would have found this gem of a thread and Gsedan35 doesn't have to explain himself all over again:

it's also got ALOT to do with your tire choice as well - that is what actually dictates at what point the spring starts working
Tires with a very stiff sidewall can make even a soft spring ride like crap, and tires with a soft sidewall can make stiff springs still feel floaty - the trick is getting a happy medium

He was referring to a Tokico shock and spring package, in which case $600 or more sounds about right.
