Question Dust Shields

Would anyone reccomend some sort of dust shields for the rims to lessen the brake dust?

That would look dumb wouldn't it? It might cut down on the dust, but then you wouldn't get to see the brakes.

I had a set on my car (non Brembo - 17" wheels) and they worked quite well. Then I got Hawk HPS pads and NO dust!!! Now I have no shields, new 18" wheels and still no dust!

dust sheilds also block airflow over the brakes, meaning increased fade. I wouldnt put them on mine, its not too hard to wash your rims once a week to keep things looking nice.

new pads will alleviate the problem, and waxing the rims will ease the task of cleaning the dust off.
