Default Lowered Rear & Agressive Offset causing rub...need advice...

Hey,

I've recently lowered my Z with the MR Coilovers. I love the look, however, with the offset of my Volks, I'm getting rubbing on the fender lip when I go over large dips and stuff. My question is, would I be better served to get adjustable control arms and change my rear camber? Or should I try to get the rear fenders rolled?

As you can see in the pics, the wheel & tire sit out just far enough to where a good bump or dip will cause the tire to rub that inside fender lip. Just looking for good advice...

Thanks ahead of time...

Nate

Yes, you should defiantly roll the fenders. I'm surprised you didn't do that already. Out of curiosity what are the size of your wheels, tires, and offset?

Adjusting your camber is not going to clear up that issue. It really has nothing to do with that. Get the fenders rolled/cut. Also you should get an camber kit anyways.

Also if your rubbing like that, you should defianlty go ahead and buy some type of alignment kit. For your probably out of wack on every spec there is.
Thanks Vizage,

Any suggestion on a good high quality adjustable camber kit?

Sorry but I edited my post some. Had to rethink on some issues.

I just ordered a Eibach camber kit in which is made through SPC. It has came highly recommended through alot of others on the forum. It also comes with toe bolts. It was like $135 shipped. Great deal. Awesome product.

Here's a link for you.ajusa.com Just call them and they'll set you up. It's a package deal. Camber adjustable arms with toe bolts.

Hey, thanks again Vizage!

I forgot to include my wheel specs: Front 18x9.0 +21 & Rear 18x10.0 +23

Also, I found this fender roller...any thoughts?

Just get a shop to roll it. Most will opt to cut it because rolling it is (if done wrong) known to cause cracking paint. If you cut it and seal it with sealant, it wont rust and it wont ripple. I have it cut and sealed for about 5 months now without any rust.

Roll fender or cut for sure. Good to hear you got the camber kit. My car is lowered more then your car and I have a camber kit and all. No problems. Just watch out for the front depending on how low your car is. Reason why is that if you're going up a curb and turn the wheels, it could hit the fender if the car is too low.
