I saw a website that was selling the Nismo suspension kit and sway bars...but it specifically said "for Z's not equipped with VCD" or something...does that mean it won't work with all non base models? It doesn't sound right, but I just want to make sure.

 

That warning is just Nissan's way of covering their corporate a$$. VDC is designed to work within a certain set of parameters. When you start changing wheels, tires, suspension components, you potentially change the way the car behaves and that may cause VDC to not work properly.

The vast majority of us who have changed suspension/wheels run with VDC and see no problems at all.
