Default suspension problem please help!

I've had a past thread awhile back about this same issue but i figured i would post it again to see if anyone else have had these issues. Well my car spun out and hit a patch of grass thats it and bent my control arms in the rear along with a knuckle and maybe a couple of other parts but no body damage at all.

I have now replaced all the bent parts i needed to get replaced by the shop on the passanger side of my rear suspension. My car know sits 1/2 higher on the passenger side rear then on on the drivers side rear and i can't seem to find out what the problem is.

The subframe is not bent, the frame is not bent, the spring is placed in its spot correctly. A couple of people told me to swap the springs i did that no change same issue still. This is just getting very frustating because i can't figure this out any ideas anyone. There has to be a answer to this problem ive brought it to nissan and a independent shop and they can't figure it out but agree with me that the car doesn't sit quite as level as it should.

i have no clue.

but now you know why we say cars are never the same after an accident. my best guess is that the new spring you put it has not settled like ur old spring on the other side...?

Did you replace both springs or just one?
If one, are you sure you purchased the correct spring? 06+ have a different spring rate.

May be a dumb question, but did you get new tires too? And are they the same size?

Did you have the control arm that the spring sets in replaced? How old is the car? The difference could be from having fresh bushings on one side, and worn ones on the otherside.

none of the springs have been replaced but what i did is i got them to switch the springs side to side just to make sure my one spring wasn't weaker than the other so the spring is not the issue.

One tire on the rear passanger side was replaced but yes it is the same size and properly inflated.

Yes, i did get the control arm replaced along with the nuckle and the car is an 03 with 40,000 miles the car drives fine its just sitting higher on the one side in the rear.

I'm thinking maybe they preloaded the suspension when putting the parts back on causing the one side to sit higher or yes it could be the bushing but how to i determine all of this. I will not give up untill i find out what this problem is i want to lower my car but i want to be sure the suspension is correct before messing with it.

The problem is that im having problems getting shops to take a look at my suspension because to them it seems a 1/2 inch is not a big deal but it is to me and i know this isn't correct for my z to be sitting like this. My rear tires fall in spec with alignment also so this is giving me a headache any other ideas are welcomed.

why would i do that istan? Before i switched the springs the car was sitting 1/2 inch higher on the right than the left. Then i switched them that same side was still a 1/2 inch higher. The reason for me switching the springs side to side is to make sure that it was not the spring that had been weakend and this test proves that it is not the spring otherwise the other side would have been a 1/2 inch higher once i switched them you see!

I thought you meant you just switched it when the repairs were being done. Got it.

Bushing preload is the problem, I'd guess. If you don't take out the preload the bushing will fail very fast.

Was the shock replaced? If it was damaged it may be pushing up on the car. I've had blown shocks before, they push up and make the car ride a little higher.

Make sure the rubber insulators are not missing on the top and bottom of each spring seat on both sides. Also make sure its seated properly as the spring seats are directional and wont seat right unless its seated in its original position.
