Default How much work does it take to put on track rear brembo?

If I want to convert the rear brake of my performance model to the track brembo, what part would it need from the track model?

I would need the caliper, caliper bracket. Rotor can be sorced else where such as brembo cross drill, stoptech stainless steel brake line, what other parts would be needed, and what would be the estimated cost? Also how hard would it be to install?

The number one question is, "Why?" Do you already have the front Brembos and now want them to match? Do you plan to go with a larger front upgrade? If so... the colors probably won't match. Is it for looks only? The rears really don't do a whole lot of the braking... I don't know the balance ratio, but my fronts wear out a lot faster at the track than the rears.

OK... all that being said: I think to bolt on the parts would be easy. The tricky part would be to make the parking brake work. The Track Brembos incorporate the parking brake into the hub of the rear rotor... like a drum brake.

But, with enough time and money anything can be done..

goto Nissan dealer and ask for a schematic showing the parts for both the track and performance model. ideally all you have to doe is replace the calipers and brake lines. Real easy, but I would get the dealer to do it!

It is mainly for look as I want to go for the 355 brembo system in the fornt IF I can get the 322 brembo in the rear. I would go with the stoptech but then due to communication reason with the wheel supplier, the rear brake of the stoptech 355 kit will not fit under the wheel, and getting new wheel is out of the question for me.

So the only thing left for me to do is to get the factory brembo rear brake, but sourcing the parts and putting it on is a nightmare. I wish Nissan will let you have an upgrade since the car have to be an automatic, I couldn't get the track editon (Don't ask why, I have no choice )

If anyone can provide me more info, or maybe a possible list of parts I need to get to do a complete conversion, it will be greatly appciated as I live in an area of the world where Nissan only sell and only know how to fix March.

Thanks guys.
