I recently got my silverstone z which is still stock but I just got a few questions about Lowering my car.I just got the work varianza t1s rims, after months of trying to find something I liked, they are 19'' 9.5 in the front and 10.5 in the rear but I have not installed them yet since I'm waiting on the tires to be shipped.
Anyways, I was wondering how does one lower their car? I have searched the threads for a few days and read numerous threads about lowering the car but have not found a single one that actually explains the procedure in full or at least answer my questions.
Is this just a replacement of the springs? is this something that can be reversed or is it permanent? I truly prefer a lowered car but since my car is still under warranty I wonder if I lowered it would void it? Does it change the suspension? How much does dropping the car cost?
I would appreciate the info. and thanks for taking the time to read this thread.
I'll post the pics as soon as I get them installed.

Thanks john bronze....that really gave me a whole new insight. Does anybody know a place in houston texas that could do it and how much would it cost? I don't want to try it myself after reading this part since that would be my luck...
on another note, I used my factory jack to lift up the back one more time, because my floor jack no longer fits under the side, the the jack completely bent, buckled and fell over. Thank GOD my wheel was installed! Has this happened to anyone before? I was just standing there, not even turning a wrench, and the thing just crapped out on me. DONT EVER GET UNDER THE CAR, WITHOUT USING PROPER JACK STANDS, OR RAMPS! that cheap factory crap almost cost me a bumber, exhaust and my brakes.
