Default What is you hotchkis position of the sway bar hole you are using

I 've just got my Hotchkis sways , i've had the car for 6 months , i drove a celica before , and as you know it is FWD. So , my question is , i do expect my stiffness to increase, should i expect the car's "behavior" on the road to drastically change, i mean under-over steering .and would you recomend for a fairly new person with RWD to begin with regular stiffness or as i am thniking of making the sway bars as stiff as they can be ? I kinda want my car to be feel like an autoX, and handle great.

Do you have the ones with 3 holes or 4? I have the 3, and I'm running med/med f/r.

I'm running the stiffest set up f/r. Love it. Tried to change it, and it felt weird, so i changed it right back.

I'm using med/F and light/R. Car is very neutral, no oversteer. Great if you're throttle happy on tight turns.

best way is to play around w/it as everyone driving feel is different. Start w/ what the manufacture suggests, then make adjustments that fit your style.

You should do stiffest up front and one or two down from the stiffest in the rear (depending on whether you have 3 hole or 4)

I used the sways to get rid of a little understeer. They worked great and the car is as close to neutral as I have ever felt.

R=Softest, F= 1 hole in from softest.

This is with 275/40-17 rear tires and 255/40-17 front tires.

How does your car feel now?

sorry about the delaied reply, anyways , i insatalled them today, and it was pretty simple , and i have the sway with the 4 hole front and 3 rear , i am on 245/30 19 inch front and 285/35 rear, so i was told that if i used one hole before the stiffest in the front the car would feel perfect no understeering, nothing - as i did, rear i am currently on the stiffest setting, but i am going to experiment , but the way it is now is just a beauty, handles , corners , love it.
