Default Ride Quality with hotchkis TVS Stage 1 Kit

I have a 2006 ZR that I want to add the hotchkis TVS Stage 1 kit to the suspension.

I am going to add the sway bars regardless because they will not reduce the ride quality and improve handling.

Will the springs affect ride quality at all or will it improve ride quality?
My wife does not like a stiff ride at all and it is a daily driver so ride quality is an important factor in the overall suspension upgrade.

I do not need to lower the car it is fine for me in stock height. I am really not into modding the Z just want to get the best handling and most comfortable ride possible.
If do the springs will I need to do an alignment and change other parts of the suspension to get a proper alignment?
What suspension set up would give me both?

Thanks
Roger

Someone correct me if I am wrong about my statements here but.

1. Hotchkis springs on a 2006 might not improve handling, overall spring rates arent really increased. Fronts are increased maybe 10% and the rear spring rates are decreased 20%. Lowering the car might help a little, but in reality I dont see hotchkis springs helping performance that much. Factory springs are actually pretty good. If you dont care about lowering your car, and only care about performance, hotchkis springs probably are not worth it.

2. Sways CAN hurt ride quality, but for how much it does, it can dramatically help handling. Sways are imo are well worth it.

I think your numbers are compared to the 03-04 Z's. The 04.5+ Z's have even stiffer rear springs. I went with RS-R Ti2000 springs and Hotchkis sways on my 05' and love the setup. I just did my second autocross on this setup and had my best finish ever. (The car is faster)

Hotchkis claims the lower rear spring rate helps the handling because its better matched to the stock damping. Whether or not that is accurate, I can't really say. I did install the TVS kit on my brother's car and it is a great daily set up. The ride quality is improved over stock, it took away most of the "bounce" but that was on a 04 with the unrevised suspension. You will need an alignment anytime the ride height is altered. Usually you can get into or near stock spec since the drop is fairly minimal. It sounds like the TVS kit is a perfect match for your requirements, I think you will be very happy with it.
