Default Stock '07+ 350z springs vs. Stock '07+ G35 Sedan springs

I'm looking to lower my '08 G35 sedan and am trying to research whether '07+ 350Z springs will fit, and how much lower than my stock ride height they will be.

Does anyone have any information on this?

It is my understanding that their is enough of a differance between the springs dimensionally (inside or outside coil diameters) that prevents them from mounting correctly. This however comes from reading between the lines from just one post where a 07 owner worked directly with Eibach to be the R&D car for them. Getting a set of cheap springs to test fit should be easy, like 03-06 sedan springs, sport or non sport.
