Espelir GT or Cobb sport springs? take your pick. Cobbs lower the COG more but they arent as firm. The GT's only drop the car 10mm...but they run almost 404 lbs/inch front and 515 lbs/inch rear. I know springs rates arent everything but I'm looking to minimize pitch, dive, squat, and roll. Which springs would best improve handling when used in conjunction with Hotchkis sways? Just looking for opinions.
I have the Espelir...I didn't want progressive springs but got them used for next to nothing. They aren't half bad springs.
Keep in mind that the Espelir rates are progressive, so they actually start softer than the rates you posted and end higher, but that is a theoretical # I'm sure. From my experience, the Espelir Active GT springs are quite aggressive for progressive springs. The drop on the Espelir in my opinion is near perfect, but I think they do end up settling at more than a 10mm drop. If you're going to tack your car, I would recommend the Cobb as they are linear. I plan to change springs to a linear option sometime soon.
