Camber Kit Question...
Hey fellas, I'm currently looking for a rear camber kit.I was looking at the SPC kit but I also came across the Intense Motorsport kit as well which is really cheaper.Has anyone tried out the Intense Motorsport kit? Also, is the toe bolt really needed for the camber kit as well?
Thanks
Thanks
camber is adjustable only with the adjustable rod
toe is adjustable with the eccentic bolt
the SPC kit includes both - both are needed. As you adjust camber, you are by the very nature of things, affecting toe. The SPC kit will allow you to correct both of these issues at the same time
Bang for the buck, there is NO better setup...it's inexpensive, reliable, and works and fits exactly as it should.

What sucks about the Z's rear suspension is you can't adjust the camber without affecting the toe. SPC is the only company I know of who makes the toe bolt to remedy the problem. There are some kits (Battle Version and Stillen for example) that have two adjustable rods, but they require a coilover suspension. I spoke with a Cusco tech person who recommended against this kind of setup. I did a mix and match- I bought the Battle version camber arm, then had to rush order an SPC toe bolt when I couln't get the toe asjusted within reason. I wasn't going crazy with camber either- just trying to keep the tires wearing evenly after going to a wider wheel and a mild drop.

I use the SPC and have the Eibachs with 19s---I had a hell of a time with the alignment and bought the Bolts. But ended up not using them because I finally found a guy that knew what he was doing. Alignment hasn't been touched in 35,000 miles.
