Default suspension problems??

I have been vigorously searching for a Z to buy. And I have ran a few carfax's. one thing that always comes up, is "suspension serviced" and it usually comes up early in the cars life, like around 20,000km. which is only a years worth of driving.

Does the suspension have known problems?? or is there some type of service that nissan reccomends for it?? or does this just pop up on carfax when the dealer does a routine check of the suspension??

i hope someone can shed some light on this. i havent found anything about it, through all the reading i have done on this site.

BTW, all the cars i have ran, have been 03 or 04.

Thanks.

thats a possiblility. still seems weird to need an alignment on a stock car. at 20,000km. but you might be right. thanks for the input.

Actually, to prevent the tire-feathering problem, I'm getting annual alignments. The Z apparently doesn't hold the alignment very well.

Due to rubber bushing wear alignments every 7500 miles/6 months can be useful to extend tire life. Just a rotation- rebalance [demount and flip] every 3750 miles/3 months is useful.

I have an 03 and have over 66k on the car. I have never had an alignment and am on my second set of tires. Current tires have 9/32 tread left and I bought them off a member on here used, he put @1000 miles on them before they where sold to me.(have put 8k on the new tires)

I have an 03 with about 44,500 miles on it and I changed tires just to get off of the crappy potenzas and on to some better tires at 26K miles. Never once had an alignment and even now with the Tanabe GF210's on it and the slightest hint of negative camber I've never had any tire feathering.
