Stoptech Silver (special order) would be really nice - takes a little while to have done, but nice color
Mine are called No Buff Alumite - I opted for the "no buff" option (means not polished), since I liked the raw-er look of it. They also offer a "buffed" option, which is polished to a mirror shine (this is what I have on my hats)

^^^ Please refrain from giving other people advice based of off hearsay from secondary sources. This only leads to misinformation being spread throughout the boards.
The fact of the matter is that the Stoptech kit is indeed wonderful and its owners do benefit from a rather "large" pad selection. However, there are several other factors which play a huge role in how one picks a Big Brake. Kit. One of them that I would like to mention, is pedal feel. This is one aspect that will differ from kit to kit and the preferences will change from driver to driver. So to say "Stoptech is better than all others kits if you are going to truely race" and to follow up by saying "Endless...are bling appeal BBK" is completely lame. If you think Endless kits are just for looks and are not race proven you really are not qualified to be giving advice on brake kits for on or off the track.
That is the last I will talk about Endless kits as the OP has stated that that is not an option for him/her right now. I will repeat my previous suggestion of going with the silver special order Stoptech kit.
Edit: Just to add the Stoptech BBK can be said to be the best kit from a price perspective.

Kwame;
1) At least we agree with the Silver ST kit for SickZ
2) I never said others won't perform. Quote myself; "I'm not saying others aren't an upgrade from OEM."
3) "IMO" Other are overpriced bling kits.
4) A forum is just that... Hear say opinons and how 90% of members make their purchases.

Lets us know what you do, do SickZ!

Also; Rotora; Endless, Greddy, etc... Are all bling appeal BBK.
OP - stick to the bigger players on the block: Brembo, Stoptech, AP, Endless and you will not be disappointed, period! bang for the buck I think it's a toss up between AP and Stoptech - both offer ALOT of performance for the dollar.
Also did you consider Brembo? They offer a silver setup, that often is in stock, so you don't have to wait like you would with Stoptech for silver. Their logo is engraved into the caliper, and comes in red, but, if you have a local bike shop near you, you could easily have this done in mag blue to really help set things off
If you have any questions on any of kits, feel free to ask - we don't just hawk parts, we've used literally every kit we offer and would be happy to go over the options with you on a more than 'price only' standpoint.

Hmmmmm, Project mu doesn't seem to be mentioned alot but seems like they are more than just bling.

I don't know if there is as great of a variety of pad selection for the PMU, but I wouldn't discount them either.
