Default can i paint my coil springs??

i just got my tein s tech springs but before i have them installed i was wondering if i could paint them a different color, and how... can i use spray paint or does it need to be powder coated?

You can paint it but there is no point of doing that.
What is wrong with the green?

i like red better, and i like the amount that the tein s tech drops which is why i didn't buy any other spirings

if you want to, get them powdercoated. Paint will just chip off and rust.

and another thing, can the dealer use the springs as an excuse to void my warranty or anything like that ? cuz i know dealerships can be pretty stupid about stuff like that

btw, it sounds like you are spray painting your stock springs for whatever reason. Is this true?

Yes you can paint anything. Have it done at paint shop. They will know the proper coating that will flex along with the spring.

there is no flex additives that will work on a coiled spring painted at a body shop.

Also, IIRC, powdercoating springs can expose the springs to heat which can affect them in certain ways.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
