Default Are my coilovers topped out?

Hey guys,

Can you tell from the pics if the coilovers "ride height" can be raised more than it is? At the current setup the fender sits right above the tire... I need it to be 2 or 3 inches higher. Perhaps I'm not adjusting it correctly all together. Please advice on the proper way to do this. Thank you all!!!

You still have plenty of room to raise on the stance coilovers. Right=raise. Left=Lower. The adjustment coil is the one the spring is sitting on. Turn that one to the right all the way until it wont go up anymore. You'll know because you wont have anymore thread on the coilover its self.

I tried it this morning and hesitated to continue because i thought I was compressing the spring and if felt wrong... I will try it again. Thank you for your advice!!!

I'm pretty sure springs are designed to be compressed ........ are you serious?

Very true... but when I called stance they had advised me to setup so that the spring is just barely tight then adjust from there. I must have heard wrong. In any event thanks everyone.

if you adjust them to the top and its compressing the springs, what you are doing is preloading them making their effective springrate much higher. This will result in a significantly stiffer ride. Follow stances advice to only tighten until the spring is just barely tight when the suspension is uncompressed
