cusco coilover ride height adjustment

Just for clarification, after searching and reading a bunch of threads. In order to change ride height in the front you adjust the dampener body. How is that done? do you take out the whole coilover unit and twist the body so that it moves up or down the threads? Or can this be done with the coilovers still on the car using the wrenches?
The rear you adjust the ride height with the rear spring perch and then adjust the dampener accordingly to keep stroke travel, do you have to remove the dampener to do this? or can you keep it in the car and just use the wrenches?

I saw your post in the autocross/roadcourse section, so I understand why your wanting to adjust height upwards.
Your correct about how to adjust the rear on both counts. No you do not need to remove the rear damper. Mark a point on the spring seat that matches how much higher you want to go up, do the same thing on the rear damper body. You'll likely have to pull the bolt in the lower shock mount to release enough tension on the spring seat and on the damper as to allow both of them to spin. Lock everything down and put everything back together.
For the front, you may be able to adjust the damper longer without a uninstall. However, more then likely you will have to do a partial uninstall in order to release enough tension on the lower mount as to allow it to spin. Included in that would be removing all the preload tension on the springs (remember if you do this that on reinstall that you only set spirng preload at the minimum level to keep the spring seated). If you get enought tension removed, you should be able to spin the damper in the lower mount and lenthen the it.
Hope that helps
