BC's are very different from Megans. Starting with the size, the piston rods are 2mm larger, overall shock housing is 3mm larger, larger dampening range, lower lock spindle redesigned to not let loose, custom spring rates available, not to mention baller black and gold set up. There is no comparing
. BC's ftw
. BC's ftw
BC makes suspension for many more companies than most would realize. they make the Apex-i ex-v's I think they are called. they also do make the megans, as well as others out there. the actual threaded shock is the same, only the valving differs ( and you can find that info on the white sticker under the rubber boot):hmmm

I have Stance coilovers and after getting them dialed in, cornerbalanced and alignment done I love them very much.

Also, supposedly the Megan's dampening sucks big time. the quality I haven't heard anything bad about but the difference between the well damped coilovers and the cheapos are really how they ride at higher speeds.
The Stance coilovers I can say are comfortable at all speeds and aren't bouncy. I cannot comment on any of these others, but the KWs are still a step above the Stance in this regard (progressive springs help this).
So you can save up a few more hundred and step up to something you can be sure of, or do it on the cheap (like me, lol) and see what happens. some people accept the trade offs in return for the value, others shouldn't compromise since they wouldn't be happy. if you are only getting them to slam the car, you probably wouldn't see the benefit of the nicer setups, but if you have plans of track work or appreciate a really great setup you might want to invest. not to say that all the more expensive coilovers are any good. some are total rubbish and are expensive.
