BC Sports is the best bang for the buck period. I wouldn't buy megans due to their rep but they are supposed to be decent.

BC/KSport/Megan coils all look the same, wouldn't be surprised if they were made in the same factory. The Evo BC and Megan coils are identical except the colors.

BC's are very different from Megans. Starting with the size, the piston rods are 2mm larger, overall shock housing is 3mm larger, larger dampening range, lower lock spindle redesigned to not let loose, custom spring rates available, not to mention baller black and gold set up. There is no comparing . BC's ftw

what is your price range?

I have Stance coilovers and after getting them dialed in, cornerbalanced and alignment done I love them very much.

BC makes suspension for many more companies than most would realize. they make the Apex-i ex-v's I think they are called. they also do make the megans, as well as others out there. the actual threaded shock is the same, only the valving differs ( and you can find that info on the white sticker under the rubber boot):hmmm

where else but R/T Tuning. Pat is a very knowledgeable suspension man. We had a great conversation. It was the only place that could fit my car, and I wanted the cornerbalancing (a must honestly).

Vince has also treated a couple of my friends very well in the past.

not many people run them, but they are another 'no one realizes how many other people's suspensions they make' type of company. SPL uses them so I would trust they are a sick unit. Also from talking with a guy or two with them, they worked very well. and I would recommend that you do the full SPL package with them (it includes their midlink) so you can get the better springs and the option of swapping them out easily. it is worth the 500 extra tbh since you can adjust camber and toe with the midlink as well to work with the stock parts.

Also, supposedly the Megan's dampening sucks big time. the quality I haven't heard anything bad about but the difference between the well damped coilovers and the cheapos are really how they ride at higher speeds.

The Stance coilovers I can say are comfortable at all speeds and aren't bouncy. I cannot comment on any of these others, but the KWs are still a step above the Stance in this regard (progressive springs help this).

So you can save up a few more hundred and step up to something you can be sure of, or do it on the cheap (like me, lol) and see what happens. some people accept the trade offs in return for the value, others shouldn't compromise since they wouldn't be happy. if you are only getting them to slam the car, you probably wouldn't see the benefit of the nicer setups, but if you have plans of track work or appreciate a really great setup you might want to invest. not to say that all the more expensive coilovers are any good. some are total rubbish and are expensive.
