After you start your car do a couple light brakes from 45, than do two very hard brakes from 60-10mph, and than go out and see how the Hawks perform. They need to get warmed up a bit because they are ceramic.

What is bedding?

I just purchased a set of Nismo pads all around did the bedding in process and WOW, what an improvement over stock pads. The only down side to this is that when cold they have little less initial bite, still stop but if they are warm they bite very hard. On my OEM brembos. I like them

I've put Hawk HPS on my car a few months ago. As some others have mentioned, initially there isn't as much bite as the OEM, but I've found that pressing the brake a little harder gets a much stronger bite than the OEM. I do really like that there's very little dust.

I cleaned my wheels after I changed my brakes a month and a half ago, and they're still pretty clean!

The Nismo pads have a bit better initial bite over the Hawks, as far as brake dust both are much lower then the factory pads. I prefer the Nismo pads over the Hawks. If anyone is intersted i can do a special price on any Nismo brake pads for my350 members.

I cancelled my order of Hawks. I would like to order a set of Nismo R-tune non-brembo pads for my 2003 model Z. My zip is 75070 for shipping. Please PM a final price. I'm ready to buy right now with your "special pricing".

Thats an odd combo , if they don't bite , they can't activate ABS earlier than a different pad.
