Budget Suspension Plan
Hey all. I recently became broke after installing all my parts on my 08 Z, however after the wheels were put on the fender gap is bothering me greatly. Therefore, I need to lower it and would like some improved handling as well. I want to spend around 900 on all parts, so this is what I've come up with for now:
Tanabe Sustec GF210 Spring Kit, 03-08 350Z
Tokico HP Strut/Spring Seat, Front, 03-08 350Z
Tokico HP Strut, Rear, 03-08 350Z
Rear Camber Arm & Toe Kit, 2003-2007 350Z
Hotchkis Sport Sway Bar Kit, 03-08 350Z
at thezstore.com this comes out to around 980. Is there anything im missing? Any better products for the price? Thanks guys, and if you cant tell I'm retarded when it comes to suspension.

that looks like a great plan. A friend has the Tokico spring/strut combo w/ sways and loves it. if you can swing it, I would also recommend you get the SPL endlinks to compliment the new sways.
Do you already have rims? that would be another worthwhile upgrade, if not the best

My bank account is dying after this past weekend. Wheels/tires/exhaust/tint all bought and installed
I also have a pioneer AVIC-D3 sitting here but I want to find a decent place around if they are going to mess with the stereo.

the springs/strut won't drop your car that much either. tanabe lowers it 1.5 or 1.2 right?

sounds like a great plan; I did a similiar Eibach Sportlines, Tokico dampers, SPC front & rear camber arms +toe. With alignment it came in a hair under $1000.
I'm not as convinced that you won't need to roll your fenders; mine didn't need them at first, but they do now (I am running stock wheels with +25 rear spacers and +15 fronts). Sportlines have a much more aggressive drop than your springs though, so you might be fine. Even if you have to roll them, that's not a big deal.
Good luck, sounds like a great plan on a budget!

I run a 9+20F 10+18R slammed like 2 1/2 inches or something and none of my fenders are rolled. I have no front camber kit and only a rear camber/toe.

Pictures of my Sportlines with stock wheels here:

Here's my front tire, which tucks. I am glad that I installed the front camber arms, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get the front in spec with this drop.
I just got an alignment done, and my rear camber was at -3.8 and -3.9 before getting it back in spec. The drop that Eibach lists for the Sportlines is a joke, it is much lower than advertised. Now that the springs have settled, I will need to roll my rear fenders for stock wheels + 25mm spacers.
