My Carbotech Bobcat review!!
Me like!!!!
I installed over the weekend Bobcat front and rear pads and valvoline synthetic brake fluid. The front pads were bonded and the rears were rivoted. The only negative thing is that the Z is a ***** to bleed. I must have gone around and around 5 times before getting all the air out. And I think after driving for 2 days, I need to bleed again. As far as braking, the car stops great. Their is minor minor squealing at low speeds but they grip hot or cold. And for the best part, their is almost NO DUST. I would buy these even if they didn't stop better than stock.. My wheels used to be coated after 20 miles. I would say these dust about 60% less than stock... Oh, I almost forgot. The stock rotors suck. I am not replacing them untill these pads wear out, but after 25,000 miles they are shot. There is a good 1/8" goove dug into them from the stock pads which at 25,000 miles were gone. I think I got every last drop of pad out of the fronts. The rotors were too thin to cut. And for my plug. We will be selling these pads and can install for anyone in NJ if you want... Email me if you have any ?'s

I'm glad you like!!
Regarding the slight noise: Very common with high coefficient brake pads. The friction coefficient is so high that very little pedal pressure is required to stop the car. The pressure required is so little that the pad isn't clamping the rotor hard enough to keep it from vibrating. You can try reusing the OE shims, or possibly some of the anti-squeal goop you get from places like Autozone or something.
