Default HKS Hipermax LS Coilover Kit

Anybody tried this kit? Looks like it's designed for the luxury sports car and would give the Z a softer ride. http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=1455

Run a search.

Their are post's from user's that have them, they have been very positive post's in general.

Take any comment's on "softness" with a grain of salt. Yes they use spirngs that are softer than pretty much all other coilover system, but those springs are still harder than stock, not softer. The key to them offering better ride quality would be in the tuning of the damper's, but since their not adjustable, you can't get back the lower performance that would mean.

Stock 350Z springs
F/R in lb/in 347/419

Hypermax LS spring rates for the 350Z
F/R in lb/in 472/472

Yes, I have them on the car right now, and I am running 20" wheel.

And believe it or not, it is a softer ride then the factory setup.

When I first got the car, I thought the car was very rough, especailly we got some pretty mess up road once a while here where I live.

After the HKS Ls coilover, the roughness is gone. The ride was almost the same as my old car, a 2000 VW Passat with Eibach Pro-Kit Spring and Billstien shocks. I would have it say it is a little bit more confortable then my friends old BMW E36 325i.

If you want to be able to adjust your height, and are not into racing your car on the track or the street, and don't drive "Too" aggressively, I would HIGHLY recommand this kit.

Here is a Pic I just got today:

This is the rear of the car...it got the sticker clearly shown, but the pics suck. Sorry.

I have the kit, too ... I think its a great setup for the daily driver and occasional weekend warrior. It's really too soft for the serious track junkie. Overall a great kit.

So you feel like the ride is softer than the factory setup? How about camber problems?

I "KNOW" it is softer then the factory set up. Because I remember when I first got the car with the factory setup, when the car go on rough road, I can feel my lung goes up as my body goes down, so my lung end up hitting against my adam apple...ouch.

I agree with above, great daily driver, bad for track setup.
