Default Eibach Alignment Problems?

I've read some places that the lowering kit from eibach causes some problems with rear alignment. I'd like to buy and install the kit, but i dont want it to turn into a nightmare getting the rear camber adjusted correctly.

has anyone had major problems getting the rear alignment adjusted correctly?

Not only the rear but front too. You just need to buy adjustable camber and toe rods for the rear. Right now there isn't anything available for the front camber adjustment.

Do a search under "Eibach" or "camber" , there are several threads on this subject.

The alignment could be off a little or a lot depending on the car. Not all stock components are 100% matched. On my fronts the right side is within spec but the left is -1 deg. off.

Some people have had no problem getting the alignment right and some are running as is and claim no excessive tire wear even with extra negative camber and toe.

It's hard to say what will happen with your car after installing springs. To me it's worth spending the extra money to get the alignment right and not have to replace tires sooner then need be.

Unfortunately there is nothing yet available for front adjustments.
