If it were up to you to choose from these two coilovers, what will you go with? and why? help is greatly appreciated.

Teins are over-sprung and under-dampened. JIC makes some of the highest quality coilovers on the market IMO

neither one

JIC are oversprung and underdampened as well - and ride obnoxiously poorly as a result. And god forbid you ever have a problem with it.

1. establish a budget

2. be realistic, and honest about what you are using your car for. If you drive 15k miles a year, and you do 1 or 2 track days a year and of those, you're running normal street tires, then buying a track oriented coilover won't do you a bit of good

my friend ran tein flex and absolutely loved it, rode in the car and is very smooth
