Default How about this set-up?

OK I'am a newbie to this, but I've been reading this forum for some time now and it sounds like you guys are the experts. I would like to know if this would be a good suspension setup for me befor I start to put down some hard earnd $$$ and wished I spent my $ on somthing better later. I'm only looking for about a 1" drop for looks and helping in performance with out getting to hard of a ride. I'am planning on putting some 265/30/19on the front with 295/30/19 on the rear, I've been reading going with this size tire I shouldn"t go to low? I am not looking a taking this car to the track right now later??? Eibach pro kit for springs. Eibach sway bars or go with Hotchis TVS stage 1 kit? Use Bilstein HD shocks. Camber kit for rear(whats the better one for this camber kit) I just want to do this right so if you can give me the pros and cons on this it would be VERY helpful in helping me on building this new project of mine. This car is not a daily driver, it only goes out on nice days. Sorry if this same question is posted some where here in this form. Again THANKS for your input. Eddie

you can't go wrong with bilstein or eibach and as long as the sways are adjustable , you are good.

I would also suggest a simple coilover setup from those manufacturers as well.

now the 295 will be more interesting. i now for a fact that on +22 my 275 advan rubbed.

What are your wheel sizes/offsets? I had 19x10.5 +22 dropped on Hotchkis springs with 275 Vredestein tires and didn't rub. Could probably fit 285s if I wanted to also.

i say
get some kw version 1/2s if you can afford, or maybe even a BC or stance coilover setup
swaybars of your choice
rear and front camber kit
18's (so as to be cost effective)

Thanks for the quick reply to some of my questions. I'm not sure about going with coilovers since I'm not planning on getting much track time with this car to get the full benifits of them. Like I said befor I'm new at adding mods to these cars and if this would be a better setup I won't rule this op out. There is just sooo many ways to inprove this great car I just want to do it right. Even if I have save alittle longer to go with a better suspension setup. As for the tire size I've read in other parts of this forum that some are running 295 on the rear. Maybe i will drop down to 285 w/+30 back space? But this topic needs to go into another part of this forum. O I might add my car is a 06 GT with VDC if that changes some of my options? I know it does for tire size.

if i was doing a street setup i would do the following:

tokico d-spec shocks/struts/spring kit--i had this and it rode fantastically
spc camber/toe kit for the rear
find a used set of sways
a set of 18x9.5/19x9.5 stagger LMGT4's with 275/35/18 front, 275/35/19 rear and a 10mm spacer in the rear
i would pass on the front camber kit as the camber you get from the drop should be gold
