Just got my car last night but from the rear there are annoying squeaking/squishing noises coming from the rear shocks. Currently I have them set on a middle setting but when I adjust them to a stiffer setting, most of the noise goes away. Is this normal for adjustable coilovers? Or is it an install problem? The front seem fine.

Also, does anyone know if HKS sets the ride height and dampening to their recommended settings when they ship them out? All the instructions are in Japanesse.

 

Hmm.. I think you might wanna ask HKS USA for these questions. They might be able to come with good answers regarding this matter.

Hahaha, my rear squeaks too. I don't mind it too much since I have music on most of the time. For the type of ride they provide and for the amount of control they give, I could care less about the squeaks I never hear.
