Default How long before an alignment

I will be installing KW V2 coilovers and will be lowering by about 1.2" (camber/toe kit on the way). How many miles should I put on them before getting an alignment? I'm concerned that since my tires will be taking a beating, should I wait until the springs are "broken in" BEFORE lowering the car (i.e. right before the alignment)?

How much do you drive a week?

All the springs I've installed in the past settled within a week or so. I would say wait a week or two for them to settle and then take it to get aligned.

Never dealt with coilovers though... I wouldn't know if they act the same. I still say 2 weeks (unless you're driving 300 miles a week).

Alright I installed the SPC camber/toe kit and took my car for an alignment. The shop told me they couldn't get the rear passenger wheel into spec. They made it so the toe is good, but camber is -2.47 deg. I don't see how i could have screwed up the camber arm... Is it possible I didn't elongate the toe bolt hole enough on this side? Has anyone tried elongating the camber arm bolt hole?

The rear passenger wheel is the only one they had a problem with. The other 3 are dead nuts. Rear wheels are 18x10 if that matters.

i just installed eibach sportline which give a 1.2" drop, i work in a shop and did my own alignment, with the factory toe eccentric's you cant get your toe into spec, but your camber will be out at lease -2.25, you will have to replace rear camber arms with adjustable ones to get them where you want them , but you will have to upgrade the toe eccentic to regain toe adjustment, but since you have that part your ok
