Any of you that painted the calipers red and used the kit from Tirerack can use genuine Nissan touch up paint. I had a couple of rock chips on my calipers and didn't want to spend $30 for a new caliper paint kit to touch a few little chips, so I went to the Nissan dealer and bought a touch up bottle Red. It's from a 2002 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V and the color code is "AG2". The color matches perfectly and only costs $5. Plus, the paint stays good in the bottle for future chips. Just a little FYI.......

Great idea. Thanks for the tip. I was thinking I'd have to order the more red paint to do touch ups. Now I'll just get some red from the dealer.

 

Is the paint heat resistant?
