Default Question about putting together akebono calipers ?

So I put grease inbetween the shims and the pads. Is there anywhere else I need to put grease like in the slider assembly ? Also of the four brake pads that came with the kit three were the same and one had some sort of little bracket on it. Does this one have a certain location it needs to go in or have something hooked up to it ? thanks dave

That bracket should be mounted on the inboard side with it on the trailing edge. It is what starts to squeel as the pads wear down .

You should put grease b\w the shim and the piston and the b\w the shim and the outside caliper. This is where most of the noise is generated from.
