Putting on Brembos - Questions
Ive read several threads of guys going from stock to the brembos.. and am just following up to make sure I have all the right parts.
Some have mentioned requiring things (like bolts for the rear calipers).. and what not.
I asked the head mechanic at the local nissan dealership and he had no idea since they had never replaced stock calipers with brembos before.
So here is my question to those who have done it already...
What extra items do I need to swap the stock brakes out with the Brembos?
I currently have :
- The 4 Brembo Calipers
- New Rotors
- Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Do I need any special mounting brackets/bolts to do this install?
ANd also, the stainless lines.. do these get connected right to the calipers?
or into the steel block that the hard line comes out of the calipers into?
much appreciated!

When I did the swap... I took the lines, calipers, and rotors.
The lines were different than the non-Brembos because of the hard lines that connected to the caliper.
If you have SS lines, you should be fine... mine went straight to the caliper.

i just did mine yea the lines bolt to the back of the calipers. you will need 2 bolts for each rear caliper as the stock ones are smaller than the brembo ones. dont forget pads also if you are changing the rotors
