Replacing my calipers and 2 new front brake pads
When i replace all 4 calipers and 2 new front pads will i need to bleed them? Just replacing oem with oem stock on a 03 350z touring
yes, anytime you disconnect the brake calipers and change or replace them its a must to bleed the system, also you might have leaks just becuase theirs really thin copper washers on those hydrolic fittings. why are you changing the calipers and not just the pads?
My front brake has been squeeking when coming to stops and pressing on the breaks lightly. I took the front left wheel off and noticed that the caliper is loose which could be causing the break pad to slide abit in there. So i just ordered 4 new calipers and 2 new break pads
The guy said they couldnt be tightened. I got all 4 oem calipers for 50 and a pair of axxis deluxe brake pads. Just staying stock just dont want the squeek and try to lessen the black brake dust
Explain what you mean by loose.....because if the bolts are stripped and teh caliper is loose at the bracket you will need to replace that bracket as well. also replacing the rear calipers will have no effect on front pad squeel.
any time a brake line is seperated from the caliper the system needs to be bled. If you are doinf the install yourself, remember to replace both copper washers on either side of the brake line.....or it will leak big time.
