Nismo 0r KYB Set-Up
I have a 2004.5 Z & looking to lower it and make it handle & look better on the street.
Ive been doing some research and found the Nismo struts, shocks, springs, sway bars and it lowers it .8"(20mm)
I also found KYB struts, shocks & Vogtland springs made in german that lower it 1.1".
What do u think would be a good set-up to go with.
I like em both, but i want ur suggestion on witch one would be better.

What price for the Nismo S-tune kit with sways?
Your far better off getting aftermarket adjustable sways then paying a dime extra for the Nismo sway's to be included with the shocks and spring kit. Vs your oem sway's the Nismo kit is only about 18% stiffer in the front and 3% or so stiffer in the rear.
Do not bother with the KYB kit, nothing more then oem replacement shocks with a stiffer lowering spring.
Vogtland 350z progressive springs 1”/1”
Spring rates in LBS initial/final front 257/354 initial/final rear 285/422
Instead of the KYB/Vogtland kit, go with the Tokico D-spec shock and spring kit, $670

Tokico D-spec 350Z shock & spring package DSK512 1"/1.5"** linear springs **(rear drop matches what I measured when I tested the springs and what two of the first Z owners measured that also had the kit).
Spring rates 375lbs/375lbs

The S-tune kit is sold with and without sway's, in every instance that I've seen the kit with the sways, getting the kit without the sway's is normally cheaper. What price did you find for the Nismo S-tune shock and spring kit that comes with the sway's?
Even when the kit comes with the sways, they do not do much vs oem, we know this since Nismo has been so kind as to publish the stiffness ratings for the S-tune sways and EVO350 was also so kind as to let us know the stiffness of the oem sways also in lbs.

I would say it all depends on your intended usage. If you want the utmost canyon carving/trackday package you might want to look elsewhere for something more aggressive. If you merely want a comfortable & slightly lower ride the Nismo kit would probably be suitable provided its within your price point. But take note, there are many different options at that price, also note, those different options are not so much better however they do suit different needs.
To be honest, if that's legit I would say that a great deal. I'm guessing its used because that part list should be somewhere around $1800-2100 but if it is good I say pull the trigger. But just be extra careful the seller could be trying to pull one.
