i have the buddy club coilovers . the rears are a true coilover design. This pic demostrates how mine looks exactly. Are the perches set where it can go as low as possible?

also, if this is the lowest setting, couldn't i remove one of those red pieces (last two pieces..not the one where the spring is lying on) and be a bit lower?

kind of waiting for a response from Adam at Z1

no, not at all. nothing to show about.i picked these up used from a friend which he wasn't sure about the adjustment. for some reason, i was thinking that you would move up the perch to go lower. since these are used, it didn't come with instructions. I want to make sure before i sell it to buy different ones that can go lower.

lol he didnt post em up just to show em off. He bought it from me and i didnt know much about em since they were already adjusted when i bought it. I told him that you cant go anymore since you go down on them to lower, someone else told him to go up with them to lower (with the collars), he just wants confirmation.

That coilover looks maxed out, but it doesn't look its not going to be that low of a ride height. Why is the rotor so low? Usually it sits much higher on a big drop, at least in my experiences.

the drop seem to be around 1.2-1.6 in the rear. the front can go pretty low though. I just thought it was odd as if i was doing something wrong.

from what I remember, the BC coilovers do not offer a very low ride height.

yeah, i was reading up on it last night from one other member who said it doesn't go too low. I was just hoping it did for being a true type coilover.

this sucks. all i want to go is about .5-.8 of an inch more in the rear.

put some bags of rice in your trunk. it's fuel and will make the rear sit lower

i was thinking about this but don't know what fits. i think i would have to get some custom one made. then when i do, i feel like the shocks will blow out. i think i will just buy new coilovers or something. or get a body kit again, whatever makes me look lower, lol.

I have the same problem with my setup, Zeal Function Xs. I was told that you can adjust the height more by lowering the spring perch. The trade-off could/is be poor ride quality. By the looks of your setup, maybe you have maxed out. Are you sure you've thread the main body (shock) all the way down?

Take care
