Default Can't figure out WHY!!

ok.. my car feels like e brake is always on. like when I am on a slight hill, it used to roll forward or to the rear depends on gravel but now it's not even rolling. when I drive, it just feels like something is holding it together. I know for sure that right now my rear driver side bearing is bad because it makes noise and my rear wheel shakes when it's on the lift.. could this be the problem or is it something else? HELP!!

the first indication of it being your brakes would be a very strong smell. The only other thing I can think of is the vibration of the bad wheel bearing is causing the wheel speed sensor and traction control to get false reading of spin and skidding

start with replacing wheel bearing thats alot of friction to try and overcome if its as bad as it sounds.

First I thought it was my old rotors and pads so I replaced all of them and next thing I know I can smell very strong brake smell but I thought it was because it was new. But why does it feel like e brake is on? is it because of bad bearing?

Left up your rear... try turning the wheels... that will tell you if your ebrake is stuck...

I had a brake booster go bad on my Z. (Same happened to a friend's G coupe)

The booster going bad was making it build up vacuum pressure without releasing. By doing this, it was applying pressure to the master cylinder and causing the brake system to operate even though I wasn't pressing the pedal.

In attempts to locate the proper brake booster for my model, I ended up with two spare brake boosters that I don't need.

If your wheel bearing is not the cause, let me know if you want to buy one of my brake boosters. I have one for models with TCS and no brembos, and the other is for models with VDC and no brembos.

It's possible the pucks are stuck in the calipers, causing the pads to drag on the new discs.

+1 on this, my prelude had the same problem a while back, but it started making the worst noise EVER. Make sure your caliper hasn't siezed up, but also change that bearing!
